Shipping and delivery
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on every order within the continental United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, or an address outside the US, email info@airx.art before ordering and we will quote a rate.
How long until my canvas arrives?
Every canvas is made to order. Orders typically ship within 3 to 5 business days, and delivery within the continental US typically takes another 3 to 5 business days. You receive a tracking number by email the moment your canvas leaves the studio. Full details are in our shipping policy.
Where are AirX canvases made?
Every piece is printed, stretched, and packed in our studio at 2220 Eastridge Ave, Suite P, Riverside, California. Nothing is warehoused or drop-shipped. Read how our canvases are made.
How is my canvas packaged?
Each canvas is wrapped, corner-protected, and boxed by hand so the edges and face arrive untouched.
Do you ship to Canada or internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. If you are outside the US, email info@airx.art and we will let you know what is possible for your address.
Returns, damage, and cancellations
What is your return policy?
If a piece is not right for your wall, email info@airx.art within 7 days of delivery (delivery day counts as day 1) with your order number. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in the original packaging, and shipped back within 14 days by a tracked service; return shipping for undamaged items is the customer's responsibility. Refunds go to the original payment method within 10 business days of the return arriving. Personalized and custom-photo canvases cannot be returned. See the full return and refund policy.
What if my canvas arrives damaged?
Email info@airx.art within 7 days of delivery with photos of the canvas and the packaging. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund, and we cover all shipping in these cases.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. After that, production has begun and changes are no longer possible.
Materials, sizes, and hanging
Is the canvas ready to hang?
Yes. Every canvas arrives gallery-wrapped on a kiln-dried pine frame with hanging hardware already installed. No assembly and no framing needed.
What are AirX canvases made from?
Gallery-grade poly-cotton canvas, archival pigment inks that are acid-free and fade-resistant, and solid kiln-dried pine stretcher bars. The image is mirrored around the edges so the wrap looks intentional from the side.
What wrap depths are available?
Two: a 0.75-inch depth that sits close to the wall for a slim, classic look, and a 1.5-inch depth with a deeper, more sculptural edge. We recommend 1.5 inches for canvases 30 inches or larger on the long side.
What sizes can I order?
Catalog artworks come in preset sizes from 12 x 18 inches up to 72 x 39 inches (or 39 x 72 for portrait formats) on a single panel. Create Your Own canvases run from 12 x 18 up to 58 x 39 inches in presets, plus custom sizes.
How do I choose the right size?
A good rule: art above furniture should cover 60 to 75 percent of the furniture's width, so a 48 to 58 inch wide canvas suits a standard sofa. Hang it with the center about 57 to 60 inches from the floor. Our canvas wall art size guide covers every room, and Design Your Wall previews any artwork on a photo of your own wall at true scale.
How do I hang it?
The hardware is already on the back. One nail or picture hook holds most sizes; for canvases wider than 40 inches we suggest two hooks so the piece stays level. Step-by-step instructions, including a no-tools method, are in our hanging guide.
How do I care for my canvas?
Dust it with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. For a mark, use a barely damp cloth with no soap or cleaner. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from very humid spots such as directly above a stove or in a bathroom without ventilation.
Will the colors match what I see on screen?
Our files are professionally color-calibrated and print closest to how they appear on Apple displays. Every screen renders color differently, so slight variation between your monitor and the printed canvas is normal and is not considered a defect.
Create Your Own
How does Create Your Own work?
Upload a photo on the Create Your Own page, crop it with the built-in tool (nine aspect ratios plus freeform), add optional text, and preview it live on a canvas. After you order, we email a digital proof within about 30 minutes. Nothing prints until you approve it; if you click Not Approved within 24 hours we refund you in full.
What photo formats and sizes do you accept?
JPG, PNG, and HEIC up to 25 MB. Upload the original photo from your phone or camera rather than a screenshot or social media download, especially for larger canvases. If the resolution is too low for the size you chose, the proof will show it and we will flag it before printing.
Can I add text to my canvas?
Yes. The Create Your Own tool lets you add a name, date, quote, or message with a live preview, so you see exactly where the words sit on the image before you order. See 15 personalized canvas ideas for inspiration.
